What to Expect
Here’s what to expect when you step into GDGU session

Warmup & Mentorship
Every session begins with a jump rope warmup to get the body moving, followed by a team huddle in the ring. Coaches lead a short mentorship talk around a themed topic—building character, discipline, and confidence before the workout begins.

Training & Skill Building
Youth are split into beginner and advanced groups, ensuring everyone trains at their own level. Beginners learn the foundations of boxing, while advanced students work drills, techniques, and sparring with USA Boxing–certified coaches. Each workout is designed to challenge, teach, and grow skills step by step.

Wrap-Up & Recovery
At the end of practice, everyone pitches in to clean up the space. Kids then receive snacks and drinks to recharge and take home—because fueling the body is just as important as training it.
